Children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder are NOT included in the criteria for issuing an Amber Alert. This really needs to change.

Missing with Autism: Ayn Vandyk (FOUND - OK)

Breaking News: Missing 9 Year Old Girl – Ayn Vandyk – FOUND | Abbotsford Today

The missing girl has been located. Residents on Mt. Lehman Road contacted police when they observed Ayn on their property. She has been returned to her parents and is in good health.

The Abbotsford Police wish to thank everyone who assisted with this investigation.
