Coon Dog Locates Missing Boy with Autism (Johnny Hahn)

Missing Autistic Boy Found Safe - NewsChannel5.com | Nashville News, Weather & Sports

COLUMBIA, Tenn.- A 9-year-old boy with autism wandered away from home Sunday afternoon and sparked a full-blown search by law enforcement and volunteers alike.

Maury County Sheriff Enoch George summed it up Sunday afternoon when he said it would tickle him beyond belief if every story could end with an outcome like this.

Nine-year-old Johnny Hahn was found a few minutes after 4:00, after a coon hound named Mason happened upon his scent. Handler Ysela Carrillo said they used a pair of shorts Johnny had slept in the previous night to familiarize the dog with the child's scent.
