Authorities say 61-year-old Pete Peterson was last seen at Dysart's Marina in Southwest Harbor either Wednesday or Thursday.
Peterson is described as 6-foot-1, 230 pounds and is balding with a grey beard.
Police say he walks with a limp and has a lazy eye and often wears glasses.
Again, Peterson is autistic.
They say he was last seen wearing blue jeans, possibly a grey hooded sweatshirt and brown shoes.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Southwest Harbor police at 244-7912.
