Missing with Autism: Nadia Bloom (Renewed Hope?)

Back to square one deemed "renewed hope."

WINTER SPRINGS -- Searchers are returning to a Seminole County subdivision Monday morning, looking for a missing 11-year-old autistic girl.

Nadia Bloom has been missing since Friday. However, there's renewed hope now thanks to a tip from the missing girl’s sister.

Since Friday all searchers have started at the spot where they found Nadia's bike and expanded outward into ponds, swamps and the woods.

Late Sunday, Bloom’s sister showed the search teams where she and Nadia would play.

They said she also wrote a story about going out to explore nature.

That's what authorities have thought Nadia was doing all along, and why they haven't suspected foul play.

Police are concerned because the area around her Barrington Estates home is full of hazards, such as waist-high mud, snakes and alligators.
